Morning in the Garden

Morning in the Garden

Some of the most peaceful moments happen
before the day truly begins.

✧

Morning in the garden rarely begins with
urgency.

The air is still cool, and the light arrives slowly
over the edges of the beds. Leaves hold the
last traces of dew, and the quiet sound of bees
begins somewhere nearby.

It is time for small work.

A basket carried between rows.
A handful of herbs gathered for the kitchen.
The gentle brushing of soil from newly pulled
roots.

Gardens are not places that ask for perfection.

They ask only for attention.

And over time they return that attention in
quiet way-in the scent of rosemary on
warm fingers, in the slow opening of flowers,
and in the simple satisfaction of tending
something that grows.
